Brock University

Brock University – located in St. Catherines just outside of Niagara Falls, ON. Brock is a primary undergrad university and has a current enrolment of 19,000+ students. The team practices once a week and has a game or tournament every weekend of the season. Carleton University

Carleton University – located in Ottawa, Ontario Carleton is a diverse university with over 30,000 students enrolled in their strong undergraduate and graduate programs. Carleton offers many unique programs, explore more at https://admissions.carleton.ca/. The ringette program was started in 2010. The team practices once per week, plays roughly once per week in the local 18+A league, and attends university tournaments throughout the year. Dalhousie University

Dalhousie University – located in Halifax, NS is the largest university in Atlantic Canada, has 21,000 students from across Canada and 115+ international countries. Ranked internationally among Top 20% of universities. Faculties include Sciences, Commerce, Computer Science, Health professions; graduate degrees in medicine, dentistry, law, engineering, pharmacy, medical, earth and marine sciences. Dalhousie’s highly rated Tier 1 ringette program, started in 2010, plays and practices weekly and annually at the national University Challenge Cup. Laurentian University

Laurentian University – located in Sudbury, Ontario, Laurentian offers a diverse range of programs in French and English. With approximately 8,000 students, Laurentian has small classroom sizes, allowing you to work closely with your peers and professors. Our ringette program was created in 2018 and features weekly practices and workouts. We also travel to tournaments and exhibition games. McMaster University

McMaster University – located in Hamilton, ON is renowned for its medical schooling plus Faculties of Engineering and Business into teaching and research in the Faculties of Humanities, Social Sciences and Science with multiple degrees. Their ringette program established in 2011, holds 3 UCC Tier II titles and have twice sent 2 teams in UCC competition.  Averaging 3-4+ hours of ice per month, 2-3 tournaments per year plus UCC and Provincials.  For more information about our ringette team please contact coachrob@cogeco.ca

 

Nipissing University

Nipissing University – located in North Bay, ON we are proud to be a primarily undergraduate university with a reputation for excellence in teacher education, arts, science, professional programs, and is proportionally the most nursing intensive university in Ontario. The Nipissing Lakers Ringette Team has been around since 2011, and proudly represents the birthplace of Ringette. Trent University

Trent University – located in Peterborough, Ontario with a satellite campus in Oshawa. Trent is a primarily undergraduate university with around 12,000 students. Their ringette program is steadily growing and practices once per week and plays the occasional game against nearby 18+ teams. They attend 4-5 tournaments per season. University of Alberta

University of Alberta – Situated atop Edmonton’s river valley the University of Alberta is ranked as a TOP 5 Canadian University, offering over 200 undergraduate programs. The University Ringette team plays in the NAWRA Open A division and averages 2-3 ice times per week. The team is an important part of the local Ringette Community, and works to build the sport through volunteer programs and mentorship. Try outs will begin in late September. University of Calgary

University of Calgary – with a student body of over 34,000 and more than 250 programs offered, the University of Calgary offers a comprehensive educational experience. The U of C Dinos are a competitive ringette team playing 1-2 games/week in the Calgary Open A Ringette league. The Dinos are also 10 time champions at the University Challenge Cup. University of Guelph

University of Guelph – located in Guelph, Ontario, is one of Canada’s top research universities and is known for excellence in the arts and sciences, and home to nearly 30,000 students. The UofG Ringette team trains on campus 2-3 times per week.  The team competes against other Ontario universities and 18+ teams in various tournaments and exhibition games throughout the year. Tryouts begin the second week of September, for more information about our program please contact ringette@uoguelph.com.

 

University of Lethbridge

University of Lethbridge – located in Lethbridge, AB has approximately 8000 students and offers undergraduate and graduate programs.  Our Ringette Program is one of the best in the country and has resulted in a top 3 finish at UCC’s for multiple years.  We practice twice a week and have two work outs a week with a high-level performance coach.  We play in the Calgary Open A Ringette League and attend several tournaments throughout the year. University of Ottawa

University of Ottawa – The University of Ottawa Gee-Gees ringette program started in 2004. uOttawa enables students to customize a degree that’s as unique as they are from an array of 550 undergraduate and graduate programs. The Gee-Gees are actively supported by the uOttawa Varsity Services. Resulting in up to 4 hours of on campus ice each week and training with the uOttawa High Performance Centre. University of Regina

University of Regina – has about 17,000 students and offers over 150 different academic programs. The Ringette Varsity Club was established in 2023, the team had a great experience attending our first UCC hosted in Ottawa. The team meets 3 times a week for practices and games. We plan on attending 2 tournaments each semester against other university teams. Our coaches support players in balancing academics, part-time employment, and competitive ringette. University of Saskatchewan

The University of Saskatchewan is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and has approximately 27,000 students across campus studying over 200 academic programs. The U of S Ringette Club was established in 2024, and has amazing coaches who are committed to inspiring academic and athletic excellence in their players. The U of S ringette team practices approximately 2 times a week, with focus being on the athletes learning to live a balanced lifestyle. University of Waterloo

University of Waterloo – located in Waterloo, ON, the club was established in 2019. Practices are 1-2 per week with couple of games a month against other nearby university team and 18+ teams, in addition to playing in tournaments. Western University

Western University – the Western University Ringette program is one of the longest running U ringette teams in Ontario.  We are currently the Back to Back Provincial and National Champions. Wilfrid Laurier University – located in Waterloo, ON, Laurier is a mid size primarily undergraduate university with 20,000 students.
